This learning activity was to Define the Gestalt Theory in your own words.
Page through a magazine or newspaper or browse the Internet and find a different logo for each of the Gestalt principles. Explain in your own words, which logos are showing which principles, motivate your answer.
Find examples of four themes of thinking, and explain your choices.

Gestalt means an organized whole which is perceived as more than the sum of its design part.The gestalt theory is focusing on the idea that one object consist of a serie of parts, each one with their own uniqueness.

1. Similarity

The logo above appears as one unite, because the shapes of the logo is the same.

2. Continuation

The Adidas logo is an example of an Continuation logo, because it they who’s watching the logo will automatic follow the specific line or curve.

3. Closure
Mitsubishi[1]

This logo of the car brand, Mitsubishi is a closure logo, because the logo is not complete, since there are some white spaces in the logo.

4. Proximity

The logo above is called Proximity because all the dots are close together in the logo.

5. Figure and ground
