learning activity – workflow and backup

Draw a diagram of your preferred workflow and explain why you take certain steps.

It is important to have a good workflow. It is important that it is simple, effective, and that everything goes smooth between the client and the photographer.

When i do a photoshoot the first thing i do when i am finished is that i open Adobe Lightroom and check all my photos. I also do a backup with all my pictures, so that i dont loose any. And when everything is okay and the backup is complete, i can start editing my photos for the client.

Explain why creating backups are so important.

Backup is important because it is a big part of the photoshoot. If you dont take backup you could loose all your photographs from a photoshoot, and then the hard work is for nothing. Backup is a safety so the you are sure that you wont loose all that hard work. If you loose the photos you have to do the whole shoot over again, and that costs alot of money and time, for both the client and the photographer.
